6/12/04 10:23:31 PM: My Lonely Planet guidebook indicated that Ürümqi is the furthest city in the world from an ocean. It seems like there would be cities further away, but maybe a city has to have a certain amount of people - Ürümqi has 1.1 million people, and its far from being considered a populated city in China. None of the seafood looked very tasty.
