5/23/05 3:52:00 PM: Though these kids had next to nothing - no parents, very few possessions, no money of course - they were much happier than many children I've encountered. They were not in school 6 days a week, they were not trilingual by 9 and did not play the piano or violin. They rode bikes and dug holes in the ground and played all day, largely unsupervised, like Lords of the Flies.
